Singapore tourist visa requirements, supporting documents, application fees and processing times. Prepare your travel application with confidence.

Do Indian passport holders need a Singapore visa?

Yes. Indian citizens need a Singapore tourist visa (e-visa) before travelling to Singapore for tourism, to visit family or friends, or for short business meetings. Indian passport holders need a Singapore visa before travel. ICA accepts applications only through its authorised visa agents in India, so Vistolane files through an authorised agent: the ICA processing fee is SGD 30 and the agent's handling charge is shown separately. The visa is a multiple-journey e-Visa, normally decided in 3–5 working days.

The application is made online through an authorised visa agent under the ICA's SAVE system; no biometrics, no appointment and the passport stays with you. Singapore does not run visa application centres in India; applications go through ICA-authorised agents and the outcome is e-mailed as an e-visa within days. Vistolane submits through an authorised agent and returns the e-visa PDF to your portal.

Singapore visa processing time

ica.gov.sg publishes a processing time of 3–5 working days for the Singapore tourist visa (e-visa). Vistolane quotes 3–7 working days including its own safety buffer and guarantees the date the file is lodged. Appointment availability adds to this in peak season, so the appointment is the first thing we book.

Validity: Most Indian applicants receive a multiple-entry e-visa valid for two years; the length of each stay, usually up to 30 days, is decided by the immigration officer on arrival.

Why Singapore visas get refused, and how we prevent it

Most Singapore refusals for Indian applicants trace back to the file, not the applicant. The patterns below come from refusal letters handled on the platform.

  • A photo that does not meet the ICA specification
  • Form 14A with blanks or an unsigned declaration
  • Applying more than 30 days before travel with no supporting itinerary
  • Mismatch between the stated purpose and the sponsor's letter

A refusal is not a ban. Vistolane reads the refusal letter, fixes the stated reason and re-files with a short cover note, usually within the same week.
